African Millinium Economic and Business Summit, February 1 - 10, 2008 at Millinium Hall. Project Proposal

The Ethiopian Economic Association pursuant to its declared mandate and mission, plan to excute a project entitled "African Millennium Economic and business Summit" on the occassion of Ethiopian Millennium. The project is titled as an African Millennium to fully reflect the declaration of African Heads of State, to consider the Ethiopian Millennium as Unique African Occasion, during the Eighth Ordinary Session, held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 29th - 30th January 2007.

The Ethiopian Economic Association opened its first chapter at Hawaasa University on May 12, 2007. During the occasion, Inaugural Panel Discussion on Micro Finance Institutions, Micro and Small Enterprises Development in the SNNPR was held. The Ethiopian Economic Association has moved its physical location from Jan-Meda to its new premise on Red Sea Construction Building. The building is located around Lancha - Beklo Bet, at the back of Ireland Embassy. EEA also has changed its telephone lines and fax number.
