There are five type of membership in EEA.

Full membership is open to all Ethiopians and non-Ethiopians who have a minimum of a first degree in Economics and who subscribe to the objectives of the Association. (Registration fee Birr 50.00 and Annual fee Birr 60.00)

Criteria: Full Membership applicants should bring there first degree original and a copy (Minimum Requirement for Full member is first degree in Economics). In addition to that they should bring one photograph for membership ID.

Associate Membership is open to all Ethiopians and non- Ethiopians who have a minimum of a first degree and subscribe to the objectives of the Association. (Registration fee Birr 25.00 and Annual fee Birr 30.00)

Criteria: Associate Members applicants should bring a copy of there diploma, Degree and above. And also one photograph for membership ID.

Institutional Membership is open to all Ethiopian and other institutions within and outside the country that subscribe to the objectives of the Association. (Registration fee Birr 500.00 and Annual fee Birr 700.00)

Student Membership is open for those who are attending school in the department of Economics in their respective Universities/Colleges in Ethiopia . (Registration fee and Annual fee Birr 22.00)

Criteria: Student Members should bring Student ID of there University/ College and one photograph for membership ID.
